Help Desk Tuesdays

The second Tuesday of the month we have a virtual help desk so that you can get help with your knitting or crochet project. Information can be found in our FaceBook group and in our newsletter. THIS IS HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED. Look for it to start up again as we get into the Patty Lyons program.

January Knit in - January 17, 2026

This is a members only event. Decompress from the holidays at a social knitting event. We had a great time this year at our annual knit-in.

Sweater Knit Along (KAL) - this event has ended

Get your colorwork projects done so they can be oohed and aaahed over at the December meeting..

Project Bag Make Along (MAL)

This members only event has finished. You must have your own sewing machine and know how to use it. Watch for another similar event in the future.

Dye Day

Watch for our annual Dye Day in 2026 - this is a member's only activity.

Knitting in the Park - 2025

Unless otherwise noted, the time for these is 10-2. You need to bring a chair, your food and beverage, and any projects you wish to work on. Look for our sign to find us.

May 17: Carillon Park, Dayton – we will be under a tree in front of the brewery. If it rains we will move into the brewery.
June 14: Mound Park, Miamisburg
July 12: Carillon Park, Dayton – we will be under a tree in front of the brewery. If it rains we will move into the brewery.
August 16: Mound Park, Miamisburg
September 6: Caesar’s Creek Flat Fork Recreation Area, Caeser’s Creek State Park: address is 3466 N Clarksville Rd, Waynesville, OH 45068.
October 4: Brandeberry Winery – we will either be outside on the porch or inside – the time for this is 12-4

The Wool Gathering

at Young's Jersey Dairy

Third weekend of September each year (2026 is Sept 19-20)

Guild members will be at the MVKG booth, winding skeins for shopping customers.

Advent Exchange - this has taken place for 2025

We will once again create yarn Advents to exchange. The exchange will take place at either the October or November meeting. You must bring an Advent to get an Advent.
